The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based exam for admission into graduate management programs. It's a national-level test administered by one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) on a rotating basis. CAT is a two-hour exam consisting of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).
The CAT exam syllabus is designed to assess candidates on core areas essential for management studies, including Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. It evaluates problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and language proficiency, ensuring students are well-prepared for the challenges of management education. At JIMS, students receive the right guidance and resources to excel in each section of the CAT exam, helping them strengthen their fundamentals, practice with mock tests, and build confidence to achieve top scores for admission into leading PGDM and MBA programs.
