– 2 thieves arrested for stealing vehicles and selling parts in Delhi — NCR

New Delhi: Delhi's Swaroop Nagar police station has arrested two vehicle thieves. Following this, the police have recovered ten stolen motorcycles. Police are locating his other associates. During investigation, it was revealed that first they used to steal vehicles, then separate the parts and sell them. Outer-North District Police Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar Singh said that the arrested vehicle thieves have been identified as Chetan and Arvind Jain. To catch it, a team was formed under the supervision of SHO Swaroop Nagar. During this time, information was received from technical surveillance and secret informer that Chetan lives in DCM Colony of Swaroop Nagar. Acting on a tip-off, the police caught the accused Chetan from his house. Many motorcycle parts were also found from his house. During interrogation, he told that earlier he used to steal motorcycles. Then with the help of his friends he would separate the parts and sell them. On the basis of interrogation, its another associate Arvind Jain alias Kake was caught by the police from Sushant Vihar located in Burari. His shop was raided and eight motorcycles were recovered. Parts of two of these motorcycles were found open. After their arrest, the police are claiming to have solved 10 cases registered in different police stations of Delhi. Further investigation is ongoing.
